Pilates on the Mat

Made up of a series of exercises performed on a non-slip mat, this repertoire focuses on the core, and challenges the arms and legs. Carefully chosen modifications to exercises make it possible for people of all ages and abilities to perform and thus develop muscular strength, endurance and flexibility. Props such as stability balls, weighted balls, resistance bands, Fitness Circles and Barrels can be used to add variety, ensure proper form and enhance muscular function.
