Golf is a game about precision and, according to Ben Hogan, one of the greatest ball strikers in golf history, repetition. To recreate a consistently good golf swing requires not only the proper grip, stance and swing, but the ability to engage and stabilize the muscles that support the grip, stance and swing. Anything less will produce inconsistent results on the course, and more importantly, over time can lead the body to injury.

Pilates for Golfers is designed to condition the body to mindfully reproduce a bio-mechanically correct swing each and every time!

The program emphasizes:

  • strengthening the deep support muscles of the core
  • strengthening the upper and mid-back muscles that give power to the swing
  • strengthening and stretching the obliques used for rotation
  • strengthening and stretching the hip extensor and inner thigh muscles that maintain the athletic stance
  • stretching the lower back to prevent or relieve pain
